If you look up, you will see a couple of lasers on both sides of the stairs, so jump in the middle to avoid setting these off. Again, watch out for some lasers and carefully jump over the one blocking the stairs. Carefully crouch and jump your way out of this room - the kitchen - and head for the stairs.
